Aveotto Quant Lab · Auckland

The analysis the big firms charge tens of thousands for. On your numbers. In a day.

Your business throws off information every day, and most of it flows straight past, unread. Aveotto Quant Lab is a way to read it: to model your numbers, search them for the telltale signs of trouble and opportunity, and learn from what they show. The same quantitative method taught at the University of Auckland, set up inside your own tools, working for you the morning after.

See how it works

The idea, in three lines

1

I teach you something that doesn't change, even when the AI models do.

2

The same math the big consulting firms charge tens of thousands for, built into your own tools.

3

I teach you to drive. The car might change; the steering and the brakes work the same.

How it works

A flight simulator for your decisions.

When I taught this at the university, we could only run a handful of examples on made-up numbers. The power to simulate a real business belonged to the big firms. That has changed. Now I can run a thousand versions of your actual business before lunch, and show you the range, not a single guess.

It reads what your numbers already know

Five minutes against a practice's own figures surfaces the clients quietly run at a loss, and the service line earning half the rate of the rest. Not my recommendation. What your data already says.

Then it gives you the dials

Should we hire? Raise fees ten percent? Drop the loss-making work? Switch a supplier? Turn the dial, watch the outcome move, and see the odds. These are Monte Carlo simulations, a thousand rolls of your real business, so you see the range of what happens, not a single hopeful guess.

It remembers, not just computes

Load your own documents and guidance, then ask it anything in plain English and get an answer grounded in your own files. The same tool, no extra cost.

It works for you the morning after I leave

A daily briefing your team opens with their coffee, and the dials waiting any day a decision lands. One subscription you actually use every day, not a report you wait for.

Who it's for

Strategy Day

For practices that live by their numbers and want to see further into them. We model your firm live, on your own data, and you keep the model, the daily briefing, and possibly your own What-If Studio.

  • Find the work quietly running at a loss
  • Model fee changes, hiring, and supplier switches before you commit
  • A What-If Studio that gives ranges, not single guesses
  • Your own files, searchable in plain English
Trades, realtors & small business

Quick Start

No software to buy. I set up AI to actually know your business, your rates, your jobs, your suppliers, so it stops giving generic answers and starts saving the time you lose every week.

  • Three working automations before I leave
  • Set up on your screen, in your account
  • A method you keep, plus a week of support
  • Plain outcomes, no jargon

Engagements

What it costs.

Quick Start

$395–450

About three hours. AI set up to know your business, with three working automations and a method you keep.

Trades & small business

Strategy Day Lite

~$3,500

One day. Your firm modelled on its own numbers, plus the daily briefing your team opens every morning.

Smaller practices

Strategy Day Pro

$5k–10k

One day. Adds the full What-If Studio and deeper modelling. The thinking the big firms bill many times over.

Established practices

You're not buying answers. You're buying the end of second-guessing. And you work on your own device throughout, so your data never leaves your hands. That's the point.

Jim Danenberg on a West Auckland beach

Quantitative analysis, project management, and business decision-making, taught at the University of Auckland and Western Michigan University, after two decades designing and building real things across the United States and the Pacific. Aveotto Quant Lab is that teaching, brought to Auckland businesses one room at a time. The research side of Aveotto is water infrastructure; this is the same quantitative thinking, put to work on your books.
